Here is the line-up for the Festival featuring current bands on our roster, some one off reunion appearences, and side project bands featuring members of the drp records family. Each night the music will end at 12 midnight and will be followed with DJ sets from drp records family members: I Want To Kill You’s Troy Hinson aka TROYQUAN (he will open and close both nights with sets) + WISKEY TANGO aka Markie Boov from drp’s EASTCIDE + JARED PICCONE. Jared is now in INNERPARTYSYSTEM but was in 4 (yes four drp records bands, D’arey October, Choose Your Own Adventure, The Skyline Drive and ThirteenOverEight). We will have a drp records superstore setup with rare, hard to find, and deep discounted CDs, shirts, and more ! We can’t wait to see everyone ! All cameras and video cameras WILL be allowed at this event.

The brutal breakdown brothers known as THRODL will start recording a new digital/ CD for a new upstart label. After two kick ass releases “This is Freedom’s Obituary” and “No Honour In Exile” we have mutually decided to part ways on good terms. We wish them the best in the future. Catch THRODL’s last drp appearence April 30th at the drp festival.

GLOOMINOUS DOOM: Sad news, it looks like tragedy has struck the ‘Doom. Singer Jeff  Kruppenbach has been eaten by a polar bear on a Viking trek in Iceland. So, after the memorial service, the remaining members of the band asked fellow grieving friend, the Singer/ Bassist of RUMPLESTILTSKIN GRINDER,  Shawn Riley to fill in on their upcoming tours. These shows will be special events try to check them out ! Upcoming shows see the GD guys team up with MENSREA (featuring Cory Smoot of GWAR) + DEAD BY WEDNESDAY and drp’s very own DIVINATION !!! Who are finally hitting the road to support the awesome new CD “Age Of Man”.

 GLOOMINOUS DOOM :
The world’s greatest Metal/Ska/Thrash/Surf band is back on the road again ! This time pairing up with party animals from Florida, THE PRESCRIPTION (formerly known as Prescription Death). But first, the Gloom Doom guys head to co-headline the Devils Night Metal Festival @ Oasis in Charleston, SC on Oct. 30th.  Then it’s off to drive 1,000 miles to support CKY in Cleveland Ohio on Tuesday Nov. 2nd at Peabody’s. The band is also gearing up, as well as, labelmates NINETAIL, to record in January with Corey Smoot (guitarist of GWAR/ Mensrea) at his Karma studios in Richmond, VA. make sure you check out the NE dates in November…

VIKING SKULL: 
A huge THANK YOU to all the VIKING SKULL fans around the world. Our drp re-issue of the two CD special edition hard bound book packaging is almost all gone. Our distributors warehouse is empty. The single “Blackened Sunrise” is featured in the upcoming DVD version of JACKASS 3D and on the radio all over the place in November, request it on your favorite radio station !

THE WORKHORSE III :
The power trio are hard at work writing new material while still supporting the self-titled masterpiece available now. The video for “Revolution Blood Machine” can be viewed HERE .  Lisa, Blunker, and Eric have been collecting great reviews and airplay for the CD as they roll into the film studio to shoot another video this week. We’ll keep you posted.

PAGAN BABIES:
The reunion show last month at THE TROCADERO in Philly was a great success. 400 people showed up to see this special event. Thank You for supporting the show, it truly was awesome. So awesome in fact, Pagan Babies just may be playing again (!!) but, for now… check this out:  The Workhorse 3’s drummer, Eric Perfect has joined forces with Pagan Babies Mike and Dan to re-ignite the band THE HEELS. Look for live dates to begin this winter. The PAGAN BABIES CD/DVD entitled “Last” is out NOW !!!

DRP:
Thanks again for the support and interest in the label and our bands. Look for BIG news about the return to the stage of a few drp alumni bands reuniting and and a return to the stage for SPINEBELT !!  This is the 10 year anniversary of the label. We’ve released 43 titles ( !! ). To celebrate, take a look banck, and rock into the future, we are planning an awesome festival/ multi-media event this winter…details soon !!
