Rock n’ Roll, Fire, and Girlies. That pretty much sums up the Choose Your Own Adventure experience. CYOA beagan in the spring of 2001 and has become a ROCK AND ROLL MACHINE on a direct warpath headed for yo mama. Their songs have been called “passionate…with interesting vocal style” but that’s pussy shit. CYOA is about ROCK N’ ROLL, that’s right, chicks and fire…got that. They write whiney emo songs about girls, sticking with your bro’s, and 80’s movies (Like we didn’t all want to be Michael J. Fox in “Back to the Future II” when he got to ride a hoverboard!) CYOA spawned from ex-members of Since the Fall and D’arey October…but that was all pussy shit. Jared Piccone (drums, guitars, vocals, everything) spends his time destroying his bass in Thirteen Over Eight the rest of the time. Steve Penta (bass, whining, breaking guitar strings) is now residing in Boston. Come to a CYOA show, each one completely different, and see what all the ruckus is about. Each show, Jared and Steve have been rotating in and out a “Super-Group” cast of musicians from just about every band in the state (and outside). If you’ve ever been dumped, had your ears flicked in school, ejaculated prematurely, or set things on fire for no reason, then this is the band for you. Check out the website for all the happenings in the CYOA world, and be sure to check out their live shows in PA and up and down the East Coast. A new CYOA track will be recorded for Gimmie the Medicine 2 this fall. Be on the lookout for the CYOA album in stores, at shows, and directly from drp. Rokk lives…and it starts with a “C” and ends with “venture”! Rock n’ Roll, Fire, and Girlies. That pretty much sums up the Choose Your Own Adventure experience. CYOA never played a Farewell Show. Maybe someday it will happen…

Until then:

Jared Piccone: plays drums and wrecks shit in Innerpartysystem
Steve Penta: has become a HUGE video director in NYC and manages Innerpartysystem.
