Big Green Limousine is an original,
four-piece, hard rock band from the Philadelphia suburb of Phoenixville.
Big Green Limousine’s live show is a flurry of hard rock pop songs,
laced with a driving, melodic, punk edge. Music, stage props, and the
occasional costume rental have made BGL one of the area’s premiere hard
rock acts. Every performance is different from the last, due in part to
the band’s absolute demand for attention. Irreverent humor, audience
participation, and loud, fast music are all staples of a BGL show. Their
enthusiasm for performing has enabled them to sell thousands of demos,
t-shirts, and other merchandise in nine different states.

To further promote the Big Green Limousine experience, the band decided
to enter the studio and cut their first album, 40’s, Beef Jerky and
Porn. This recording combined heavy alternative with the snappy, melodic
attitude of skate punk. To wash it down, BGL introduced the big green
lager, a micro-brewed, German-style lager produced by Chester County
Brewing Co. 40’s, Beef Jerky and Porn also brought with it the personal
selection of “You Should Know” by Dave Mirra (“The Dave Mirra Show”) on

Big Green Limousine issued their latest release, Title Track Conspiracy,
in April 2003, on drp records. A continuation of their sound evolution,
Title Track Conspiracy picks up where 40s, Beef Jerky and Porn left
off-with “Realization” as the grab point. Their first video production,
“Realization” was released at the Millennium Music Conference in
Harrisburg and their high-powered on-stage antics. BGL will soon be
heard by ears nationwide when their single is featured in an MTV BMX
video segment from the show “Made,” which airs on Saturday, August 2,
2003. The new album also features “Come Through the Wall” and “I Found a
Home,” delineating BGL’s characteristic style. “Driving guitar melodies
with just the right hint of rawk…this project shows even more
continuity than the last in that the songs flow together better and stay
with you like garlic bread.” –Chris Noecker
